Vande Bharat Train: Preparations are being made to run Vande Bharat Express between these cities. On the demand of former Minister of State for Home, Maharashtra, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given in-principle consent to run Vande Bharat Express on this route. Running Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai and Jaunpur City will provide relief to the passengers of many districts.
On the initiative of former Maharashtra Minister of State for Home and BJP State Vice President Kripa Shankar Singh, Vande Bharat Express may soon run from Mumbai to Jaunpur City. On his demand, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given in-principle approval to run Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai to Jaunpur City. Taking cognizance of his letter, the Railway Minister on Saturday has ordered to conduct a route survey of this new train.
The Railway Minister called Kripa Shankar Singh on Saturday and informed him about this. Kripa Shankar, a native of Jaunpur district, had met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on November 6 and submitted his letter. It was said in the letter that more than 50 lakh North Indians live in Mumbai. Out of these, every sixth person is a resident of Jaunpur.
It is not so easy to travel by train from Mumbai to North India right now. In such a situation, if Vande Bharat Express is started between Mumbai and Jaunpur, it will provide great relief to the people living in Jaunpur as well as many nearby districts including Bhadohi, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur and Varanasi.
The former minister told on phone that soon there will be a route survey for running Vande Bharat Express. The stoppage, route and time table of the train will be decided in the route survey. Right now there is a train from Jaunpur Junction, not Jaunpur City. She also walks five days a week. This train also takes more time.
