Northeast states are going to get the first Vande Bharat train. Railway Board has given its approval. Vande Bharat trains are already being started in North, West, East, West and Central regions of the country. Vande Bharat Express Train has been started in all areas of North, West, East, West and Central country. Now it is turning to the Northeast. The first Vande Bharat train of Northeast has got the approval of the Railway Board and it can be started soon.
According to sources, this train will run from New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal to Guwahati in Assam. It can be operated via Siliguri Junction – Kamakhya. The average speed of this train will be 65 kmph.
Apart from Assam, this train will benefit the passengers of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura. Currently seven Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. The first Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi to Varanasi in the year 2019 while the seventh Vande Bharat train was run between Howrah to New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal recently.
Presently Vande Bharat Shatabdi is running on the train route but in the coming days there is a plan to run it on Rajdhani route. Railways has set a target of running 75 Vande Bharat Express trains on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of the country’s independence.
The first 75 such trains in the country will have chair car coaches. The Vande Bharat trains to be built after that will have sleeper coaches. That is, there will be sleeping arrangements for the passengers. Railways is constantly improving the design of this train and there are plans to export it in the coming days.
Where is Vande Bharat running now?
Presently seven Vande Bharat Express are running in the country. The first Vande Bharat Express ran between New Delhi and Varanasi in 2019. The second Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The third Vande Bharat Express was started this year between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. It was the first Vande Bharat train of the new generation. The fourth Vande Bharat ran between Delhi and Una in Himachal Pradesh.
The fifth Vande Bharat train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11, 2022. It runs between Mysuru in Karnataka and Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. The sixth Vande Bharat was run between Nagpur in Maharashtra to Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh on 11 December.
This train can run at a maximum speed of 180 km. The new Vande Bharat train has automatic doors, air-conditioned coaches and swivel chairs. This chair can be rotated up to 180 degrees.
The train has GPS based information system, CCTV cameras, vacuum based bio toilets. It has been equipped with many hi-tech technology. You will not feel tired while traveling in this. It is also equipped with a protective cover.
