Vande Bharat Express: A big update has come for the rail passengers traveling by train in Delhi-NCR, UP, Rajasthan, MP and other states. From July 1, the operation of 20 trains will be completely halted for the next three days. While, some trains have also been diverted.
In such a situation, passengers traveling long distances are appealed to definitely check the time table of the train. The Vande Bharat Express train running between Delhi-Dehradun will remain canceled from Monday to Wednesday. At the same time, Shatabdi Express will come to Saharanpur and will go back from there.
The decision to cancel the trains has been taken due to interlocking work at Roorkee station. Dehradun Railway Station Superintendent Ravindra Kumar said on Sunday that the Railways has cancelled some trains of Dehradun, Haridwar and Rishikesh for interlocking work at Roorkee station.
The passenger train running between Dehradun-Saharanpur has been cancelled since June 27. He said that the Vande Bharat Express running between Delhi-Dehradun will also not run from Monday to Wednesday. The Shatabdi Express coming from Delhi to Dehradun will also come to Saharanpur from Monday and return from there.
He said that the operation of all trains will become normal from July 4. Repair work is being done at a fast pace so that the railway passengers have to face minimum inconvenience.
Long distance passengers will face more trouble
Rail passengers coming and going from UP, Bihar, Rajasthan will have to face the most problems. Now the railway passengers will have to consider other options when the trains are cancelled or diverted. Passengers will have to change the travel schedule or after travelling half the way, they will have to use the road to reach their destination.
