Mumbai Pune Vande Bharat Express- Running of new Vande Bharat till Solapur will reduce the travel time from Pune to Mumbai. As of now it takes 4 hours by train between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Pune.
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express trains on the Mumbai-Solapur and Mumbai-Shirdi routes on February 10. Both these trains will run from Mumbai station. Mumbai to Solapur Vande Bharat Express will go via Pune. Whereas from Mumbai to Shirdi Vande Bharat Express will go via Nashik.
Passengers celebrated in Pune when the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat started. When its video went viral, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the enthusiasm of the passengers. Pune will be greatly benefited by the connection of semi-high speed train like Vande Bharat from Mumbai to Pune. This is the reason that the residents there welcomed this train very warmly.
Experts believe that the Mumbai-Pune route will be included in Vande India’s busiest routes. Mumbai is connected to other parts of the country by rail and air. Pune residents have to come to Mumbai to avail these benefits. By running the new Vande Bharat, it will be possible to come from Pune to Mumbai easily and in less time. Till now it used to take 4 hours to travel between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Pune by train. This distance from Vande Bharat will be completed in 3 hours.
Mumbai-Pune-Solapur Route Time Table
Vande Bharat Express train going from Mumbai to Solapur via Pune will cover the distance in 5.30 hours. Mumbai-Pune-Solapur Vande Bharat Express will depart Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 4.05 pm and reach Pune at 7.10 pm. Vande Bharat Express will reach Solapur at 22.40 PM, while the train from Solapur will start at 06:05 AM and this train will reach Pune at 9.20 AM. It will reach Mumbai at 12.35 pm. During its journey, the train will stop at Dadar, Kalyan, Pune and Kurduvadi.
