Very soon West Bengal is also going to get the gift of a new Vande Bharat train. PM Modi is going to launch a Vande Bharat train between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri on 30 December. After this, this journey will be completed in about seven hours for the people of West Bengal. Along with this, apart from providing more facilities in the Vande Bharat train, the work of installing a sleeper coach is also going on, so that it can be used for long journeys as well.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off the Vande Bharat Express train on the busiest Howrah-New Jalpaiguri route in West Bengal on 30 December. This is the first Vande Bharat train to be received by West Bengal. Eastern Railway spokesperson Eklavya Chakraborty said that the superfast train with modern facilities will take about 7.5 hours to complete its journey on both sides.

This Vande Bharat train received by West Bengal will run 6 days a week. The train will leave Howrah station at 6 am and reach New Jalpaiguri station at 1.30 pm and after an hour it will leave North Bengal station at 2.30 pm to reach Howrah station at 10 pm. Let us tell you that the 16-coach rake of Vande Bharat train of blue and white color has already reached the Liluah loco shed of Eastern Railway.

The country’s first semi high speed indigenous train Vande Bharat Express currently runs on 6 routes. In which the first Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi and Varanasi on February 15, 2019. After this it runs between Delhi to Katra, Mumbai to Ahmedabad, New Delhi to Amb Andaura and Mysore to Chennai. The most recent train in this is Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Bilaspur.
