Vande Bharat Express Train: The Vande Bharat Express train is rapidly catching up with its speed in the country. PM Modi on Sunday flagged off a new Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Bilaspur. This is the sixth Vande Bharat train of the country. Apart from this, the Railways is working very fast on the plan to run many more Vande Bharat trains on different routes. In this, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista told that the Railways is going to run the Vande Bharat Express train soon to connect Kolkata with Siliguri. Apart from this, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat Express train between Nagpur to Hyderabad and Secunderabad to Vijayawada.

Bista said that the Vande Bharat train will connect Kolkata’s Sealdah station with New Jalpaiguri station in North Bengal city of Siliguri. With the launch of Vande Bharat Express on the Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri route, people will be able to reach their destinations faster. This will start a new chapter in the development of the region.
6 Vande Bharat trains currently running in the country
The country’s first semi high speed indigenous train Vande Bharat Express currently runs on 6 routes. In which the first Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi and Varanasi on February 15, 2019. After this it runs between Delhi to Katra, Mumbai to Ahmedabad, New Delhi to Amb Andaura and Mysore to Chennai. The most recent train in this is Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Bilaspur.

Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express Train will depart from Bilaspur at 6.45 am and reach Nagpur at 12.15 pm. In return, the train will leave Nagpur at 2.05 pm and reach Bilaspur at 7.35 pm.

If media reports are to be believed then this train can be launched in this year itself. However, its complete details have not been revealed yet. There is demand for Vande Bharat train on Nagpur-Hyderabad route as well
Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav demanding to start Vande Bharat Express train from Nagpur to Hyderabad. According to a release issued by the Chandrapur District Information Office on Wednesday, Mungantiwar said in the letter that four districts of Nagpur, Gondia, Bhandara and Chandrapur in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region have a good trade turnover with Telangana’s Hyderabad.
The minister said that there is a need to start Vande Bharat Express connecting Nagpur to Hyderabad at the earliest for the convenience of tourists, businessmen and entrepreneurs visiting the region. He said that if the government starts Vande Bharat Express, then four districts of Vidarbha will be benefited.
