Vande Bharat Express Train: Good news! 2 more Vande Bharat Express and 4 semi-high-speed trains will run on this route, know the details

Vande Bharat Express Train, Srinagar Vande Bharat: These modern trains manufactured by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) will have eight coaches and will be operated by the Jammu Division of Northern Railways.

Vande Bharat Express Train: There is good news for those waiting for a direct train from Katra to Kashmir. Indian Railways is preparing to start two new Vande Bharat Express trains for Jammu and Kashmir. With this, the number of semi-high-speed trains allotted to Jammu and Kashmir will increase to 4.

Earlier, two Vande Bharat trains have already been announced between New Delhi and Katra. These trains are – Train No. 22439/22440 (New Delhi-SMVD Katra) and Train No. 22478/22477 (SMVD Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express).

According to a report by ET Now, Vande Bharat trains will start this financial year. These modern trains manufactured by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) will have eight coaches and will be operated by the Jammu Division of Northern Railways. These trains will run between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Srinagar and will stop at major stations like Banihal and Qazigund.

One train will leave from Katra at 8:10 am and reach Srinagar at 11:20 am, while on the return journey this train will leave from Srinagar at 12:45 pm and reach Katra at 3:55 pm. However, the Railway Ministry has not yet announced the final timetable of these trains. With the introduction of these trains, the passengers of Jammu and Kashmir will get the experience of speed, convenience and modernity.

One of the two Vande Bharat Express trains will leave from Katra to Srinagar at 8:10 am and reach its destination at 11:20 am. On the return journey this train will leave from Srinagar at 12:45 pm and reach Katra at 3:55 pm. However, the Railway Ministry has not yet announced the final timing of these trains.

The Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat train is equipped with anti-freezing features. It is different from other Vande Bharat trains running across the country. It has been designed to run smoothly even in extremely cold conditions up to -20°C. Modern heating systems have been installed in the train for the comfort of passengers and the driver.
