Vande Bharat Express: The first train of Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Central (20633) will leave Kasaragod at 2.30 pm on 26 April. It will reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.35 pm.
Vande Bharat, Indian Railways: Vande Bharat is being operated on various routes across the country. The central government is gifting semi-high-speed trains to different states one after the other. After getting good news from states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan recently, Vande Bharat train is going to start in Kerala. For this, booking of tickets has also started from Sunday. Launching on April 25, Kerala Vande Bharat will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasaragod on all days except Thursday.
PM Narendra Modi will flag off Kerala’s Vande Bharat on April 25. After this, regular operations will start on Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram route on April 26 and Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod route on April 28. According to ‘The Hindu’, within five hours on Sunday, the executive chair car seats of the train on both the routes were fully booked for the first four days.
Know the route and timetable of the train
The first train of Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Central (20633) will leave Kasaragod at 2.30 pm on 26 April. It will reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.35 pm. In the return direction, Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kasaragod (20634) will depart Thiruvananthapuram Central at 5.20 am from April 28 and reach Kasaragod at 1.25 pm. As per the time table of the 16-coach Vande Bharat Express, train number 20633 will leave Kasaragod at 2.30 pm, and arrive at Kannur at 3.28 pm, Kozhikode (4.28 pm), Shoranur Junction (5.28 pm), Thrissur (6.03 pm) o’clock) will arrive. This will be followed by Ernakulam Town (7.05 pm), Kottayam (8 pm), Kollam (9.18 pm) and Thiruvananthapuram Central (10.35 pm).
How much will be the cost of the ticket?
Talking about the ticket price, the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat fare will be Rs 1590 for chair car. Whereas, the fare for the executive class will be Rs 2880. The distance between the two is 586 kms. Whereas, the Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam fare will be Rs 435 for chair car and Rs 820 for executive class. Whereas, Kasargod-Thiruvananthapuram ticket fare will be Rs 1,520 for chair car and Rs 2,815 for executive class. Kasaragod-Kannur fare will be Rs 445 for chair car and Rs 840 for executive class.
