The North Central Railway (NCR) headquarters has sent a proposal to operate the New Vande Bharat Express on the Prayagraj-Agra route along with its report. The proposal cites data from the UP Tourism Department and explains why it is necessary to operate this train on the Prayagraj and Agra route. The benefits of running the train have also been given.
The proposal for the operation of Prayagraj-Agra Vande Bharat Express has been sent to the Railway Board New Delhi by Prabhat Ranjan, Principal Chief Commercial Manager of North Central Railway. The proposal states that both Prayagraj and Agra are famous for tourism. The number of tourists visiting religious, cultural and historical places is constantly increasing.
There should be a luxury train connecting the two cities on this route of 452 kilometers. If you get convenient travel in less time, tourism will increase. This will add two tourist spots. In the proposal, UP Tourism data has been given and it has been said that Prayagraj has a record of 28,464 tourists and Agra has a record of 71,362 tourists.
Its route has also been finalized in the NCR report. Prayagraj-Agra Cantt Vande Bharat is proposed to be taken from Prayagraj Junction to Agra Cantt via Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla Junction. The entire journey is said to be completed in 5 to 6 hours.
