Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the second Vande Bharat Express on this busy route on Tuesday. According to Western Railways (WR), Modi will flag off the inauguration of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Superfast train as well as the extension of the Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express to Okha through video conferencing at 9 am. According to Bhasha news, officials said that booking of Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will start today itself at the Passenger Reservation System counter and IRCTC website.
Common people will be able to travel from March 13
According to the news, common passengers will be able to travel by this train from March 13. The superfast train will include air-conditioned chair cars and executive chair coaches. The distance of more than 500 kilometers between the two cities will be covered in less than six hours. This will be the second Vande Bharat Express between the two commercial centres. The first Vande Bharat train between the two cities was launched in 2022.

Know the timing
According to the news, 22962 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 6.10 am every day except Sunday from March 13 and will reach Mumbai Central at 11.35 am on the same day. Similarly, 22961 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart Mumbai Central at 3.55 pm every day except Sunday and reach Ahmedabad at 9.25 pm the same day.
Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Superfast Express is being extended up to Okha station. From March 13, 22925 Ahmedabad-Okha Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 6.10 pm every day except Tuesday and reach Okha at 12.40 pm the same night.
What is the current rent
In the Vande Bharat Express train currently running on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central route, the chair car fare is Rs 1365, while the executive class fare is Rs 2485.
