Indian Railways is soon going to launch Vande Bharat Sleeper train between Delhi and Howrah, which will be faster than Rajdhani and Duronto Express. This train, which will cover a distance of 1449 km in less than 15 hours, will stop at many stations including Kanpur, Prayagraj.
Indian Railways is going to launch Vande Bharat Sleeper train between Delhi and Howrah. It will be the third premium service on this route after Rajdhani Express and Duronto Express. This train will cover a distance of 1449 km in less than 15 hours and will run at a top speed of 160 kmph. It will be faster than Rajdhani and Duronto Express. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave a glimpse of Vande Bharat Sleeper train made with Integral Coach Factory technology in September 2024.
This Vande Bharat train running between Delhi and Howrah will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, DD Upadhyay Junction, Gaya Junction, Dhanbad Junction and Asansol Junction. The fare of AC 3-tier of this train is expected to be around Rs 3000, AC 2-tier Rs 4000 and First Class AC Rs 5100. This train will leave from New Delhi at 5 pm and reach Howrah at 8 am. On return, it will leave Howrah at 5 pm and reach Delhi at 8 am the next day.
The train will have 16 coaches, including 11 AC Tier-3
This train has been built by BEML using Integral Coach Factory technology. According to the information, this train will have 16 coaches. These will include 11 AC 3-tier coaches, 4 AC 2-tier coaches and one First Class AC coach. While talking about this train, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that this train will give passengers a comfortable and fast travel experience. After launching, this train will be very useful for those who want to go from Delhi to Howrah or Howrah to Delhi in less time.
