According to ‘Times of India’, the speed of Vande Bharat train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be 160 km from March. To increase the speed, Western Railway has almost completed the works on this route. Not only Vande Bharat, but also Shatabdi is being prepared to run at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour on this route.
In the year 2019, the Central Government launched the first Vande Bharat train, which was started between New Delhi and Varanasi. After this, Vande Bharat trains were started on other routes from time to time. Now Vande Bharat trains are currently running on more than 40 routes. There are possibilities of many more states getting new Vande Bharat in the coming time. With Vande Bharat train running at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the time taken by passengers between the two cities will also be reduced by half an hour. It is being said that under Mission Raftaar, work is going on to increase the speed of goods trains, mail, superfast and express trains by at least 25 kilometers per hour.
Let us tell you that a big update has come regarding Vande Bharat going from Dehradun in Uttarakhand to New Delhi. Now this train will run for Delhi on Wednesday also. Earlier, trains did not run on this day, due to which there was a demand for a long time. Now Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini has informed that the Railway Ministry has approved the proposal and now this train will run on Wednesday also. However, train operations may be stopped on any one day of the week. This train was flagged off by PM Modi last year. Running between Uttarakhand and Delhi has not only provided convenience to tourists, but various types of businesses have also benefited from the train.
