Vande Bharat Train: The New Jalpaiguri-Patna Vande Bharat Express train will cover the distance of about 470 km in less than 7 hours. PM Modi is going to launch this train.
NJP-Patna Vande Bharat: There is good news for the fans of Vande Bharat which is becoming popular across the country. Railways is continuously operating Vande Bharat on different routes. Now Railways has planned to start another Vande Bharat Express train from West Bengal. After the successful launch of Vande Bharat on routes like Howrah-New Jalpaiguri, Howrah-Puri, Howrah-Patna and Howrah-Ranchi, Railways is going to gift the sixth semi-high speed train to West Bengal. This train will run from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station to Patna. After NJP-Guwahati Vande Bharat Express, this will be the second Vande Bharat to run from NJP station and the sixth to run from West Bengal.
How much time will it take to complete the journey?
The New Jalpaiguri-Patna Vande Bharat Express train will cover the distance of approximately 470 km in less than 7 hours. This will be the fastest train running on this route as compared to Rajdhani Express and Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express. Rajdhani Express takes 8 hours 40 minutes and Northeast Sampark Kranti takes 8 hours 50 minutes to cover this distance. New Jalpaiguri-Patna Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week. While running between New Jalpaiguri and Patna, this train will stop at major stations like Kishanganj, Katihar Junction, Navgachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur and Patna Saheb.
PM Modi will inaugurate
Vande Bharat Express from New Jalpaiguri to Patna will be inaugurated on March 12. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Vande Bharat Express. Successful trial of Vande Bharat Express has been conducted between New Jalpaiguri station and Patna. This train completed its trial run last Tuesday.
Successful trial has been done
During its trial run, Vande Bharat Express departed from NJP station at its scheduled time of 5.15 with 8 coaches. After this, it reached platform number 4 at Kishanganj station at the scheduled time of 6.15 pm but at Katihar station it reached platform number 10 minutes before its scheduled time of 7.45 pm. However, the train left Katihar station for Patna four minutes later than its scheduled time at around 7.54 pm. After this, due to the caution order, Vande Bharat Express reached Patna about 1 hour late from its scheduled time of 12.10 pm at 1.10 pm, after stopping at Navgachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur stations without passengers, as part of the trial. This train left for Katihar from Patna at around 2 pm.
What will be the time table?
After leaving Patna, the train stopped at various stations and reached Navgachia around 5.50 pm. After this, it left for Katihar after 5.54 pm from Navgachia station. This train reached Katihar station about 1 hour late instead of its scheduled time of 5.35 pm. After stopping at Katihar station for five minutes, the train left towards NJP. Leaving aside the delay period, it is expected that the train will operate as per the same time table as per the trial. However, official confirmation on its time table is yet to be received from the Railways.
