Route
The train will run between Chennai and Coimbatore (Kovai) and cover a distance of 495.28 kms in approximately 6 hrs. It will have stoppages at Tiruppur, Erode and Salem. The train will run on all days except Wednesday.
Speed
Indian Railways has conducted a trial run of the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express. Please tell that the train reached the destination 22 minutes before its scheduled time at 11.40 am. The train covered this distance in five hours 38 minutes.
Ticket price
The ticket price for Vande Bharat Express between Chennai and Coimbatore is yet to be released by the Indian Railways. But considering the distance between the two, it will cost around Rs 2,000 for chair car and Rs 3,000 for executive class.
Time
The train will depart from Coimbatore Railway Station at 6 am and reach Chennai Central at 12.10 pm. In the return direction, the train will leave Chennai Central Railway Station at 2.20 pm and reach Coimbatore at 8.30 pm.
Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat
Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat will run between Secunderabad in Telangana to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. It will leave Secunderabad at 6 am and reach Tirupati at 1.30 pm. Let us tell you that the ticket price for Secunderabad to Tirupati Vande Bharat Express can be Rs 1150. However, Indian Railways has not yet given any information about the fare.
