Vande Bharat Train: Vande Bharat train is going to start soon from Delhi to Khajuraho. With this, the tourism centers of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will be connected. This train will further improve the connectivity between the two big tourist cities of the country. With the facility of luxury train, tourism between Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi and Khajuraho will get a boost. This semi high-speed train will be trialled on the Agra rail section. It is expected that this trial will start in the fourth week of May. Railways will take a final decision to run the train permanently on this route after the trial is completed.
Vande Bharat train will be run on this route at a speed of 150 to 160 kilometers per hour. So far two trials of Vande Bharat have been done on the Delhi rail section. The first trial took place in September 2022.

Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav had announced this train in the month of February. Since then preparations are being finalized to run this train. At present, 14 Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. The states of South India can get the gift of more Vande Bharat trains till the year 2024. The routes on which this train is running include New Delhi-Varanasi, New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Gandhinagar-Mumbai, New Delhi-Amb Adora, Chennai-Mysore, Nagpur-Bilaspur, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri, Secunderabad-Vishakhapatnam, These include Mumbai-Solapur, Mumbai-Shirdi, Delhi-Bhopal, Secunderabad-Tirupati, Chennai-Coimbatore and Delhi-Ajmer routes. Lakhs of railway passengers are benefiting from these trains.
