An indication has been received as to where the sixth Vande Bharat train will run. The next train of Vande Bharat series may run between cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Its route can be between Telangana capital’s railway station Secunderabad and Vijaywada city of Andhra Pradesh.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Vande Bharat Express service between Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Mysuru in Karnataka. This was South India’s first, while the country’s fifth Vande Bharat train. The sixth train of this series may run between Vijayawada and Secunderabad. It is ready to run next month. If it runs in December 2022, it will be the second such train in South India.
Union Minister announced
Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of North East Region G Kishan Reddy had announced this recently. He is also the Member of Parliament (MP) from Secunderabad. At the time when he made this announcement, South Central Railway General Manager (GM) Arun Kumar Jain and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Abhay Kumar Gupta were also present there.
What did kishan reddy say
G Kishan Reddy said “I had made such a request to the Ministry of Railways. Now there is technical approval to run Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad to Vijaywada.” Although he did not tell when the Vande Bharat train would run on this route. Senior railway officials say that this train can run in December, not November. His reasoning behind this is that at present one Vande Bharat train is being made every month. The train which was made this month has been run on the route from Chennai to Mysuru. The next Vande Bharat that will be ready can be run on the route from Secunderabad to Vijayawada.
Where did the first Vande Bharat leave?
The country’s first Vande Bharat Express train was run between New Delhi and Varanasi. After that, a train was run from New Delhi to Katra to go to Mata Vaishno Devi. The third Vande Bharat Express ran between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Fourth Bande Bharat Express ran between New Delhi to Una Himachal. Recently, the fifth Vande Bharat Express has been run between Chennai and Mysuru. Now preparations are on to run the sixth Vande Bharat Express.
There is a plan to connect UP’s Saharanpur with this train.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had gone on a tour of Saharanpur recently. At the same time, he had talked about running the Vande Bharat Express on the Saharanpur-Delhi route. However, he did not clarify when this vehicle would be launched. Vaishnav told that an architect has also been appointed to bring Saharanpur Railway Station in the world class category. Well-known people of the city will give their valuable suggestions for this. He said that preparations are being made to connect all the Jain pilgrimage places across the country with the railway network.
27 Vande Bharat will run this year
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to run 75 Vande Bharat Express across the country on the occasion of commencement of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Under this, the Railway Board has planned to run 27 Vande Bharat Express in this financial year. Out of these, only four have been able to run so far. That’s why now the work of identifying other routes of this train has been accelerated.
This train ran for the first time in 2019
Railways took out the first Vande Bharat train in 2019. It was the prototype of the Vande Bharat train and was named Train 18. This train has been developed as a Semi High Speed Train. If seen, it is an Improved EMU, in which no separate engine has to be installed. Various additional facilities have been added to the new Vande Bharat trains. This train has been equipped with Anti Train Collision System Kawach. Also, emergency windows have been installed in every coach.
