Vande Bharat Train: This semi-high-speed train connecting Maharashtra and Gujarat was launched on 30 September 2022. The stoppage of the train, which used to stop at five stations till now, has been increased.

Vande Bharat Train: Indian Railways has changed the schedule of the country’s third Vande Bharat Express train. Launched on 30 September 2022, this semi high speed train connects Maharashtra and Gujarat. This is the country’s third Vande Bharat train, which runs between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar. The responsibility of maintenance and operation of the train lies with the Western Railway (WR) zone.

Now the train will stop at these many stations instead of five

This train running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar covers a distance of 520 km in 06:25 hours. This train runs every day of the week except Wednesday. Meanwhile, this train passes through five stations. However, the zonal railway has made some changes in its stoppage. Now this train will stop at six stations instead of five – Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Anand Junction and Ahmedabad Junction.

This is the fare for the journey

Vande Bharat Express train number 20901 departs from Mumbai Central at 06:00 and reaches its destination at 12:25. On the return, train number 20902 departs from Gandhinagar Capital at 14:05 and reaches Mumbai Central at 20:30. This train, made up of 16 coaches, has AC chair car and executive chair car for seating. The fare for traveling in AC chair car between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital is Rs 1255, while for executive chair car it is Rs 2435.

Announcement of new Vande Bharat train

Meanwhile, another new Vande Bharat train has been announced to run between Bhopal and Lucknow. This will reduce the distance between the two capitals from 9-12 hours to 6-7 hours. Its fare will also be like that of premium trains. The passengers of Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur route will benefit the most from its operation.
