Vande Bharat Trains: There is good news for railway passengers. Indian Railways has updated Vande Bharat trains and with new features these trains will start running on track from 30th September. Railways have named this project ‘Vande Bharat 2’. The special thing is that the new Vande Bharat trains will provide better facilities to the passengers. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Railways, the upgraded version of the high-speed train is equipped with better facilities. According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the train has got CRS approval. That is, now the train is completely ready to run. There is a possibility that the train can be flagged off from Ahmedabad on 30 September.
Vande Bharat Trains New facilities
New Vande Bharat trains are coming with better speed. The weight of the train has been reduced. The biggest feature in this is Wi-Fi on the 32-inch LCD TV. On-demand passengers will be shown their favorite content. The train will also be equipped with a catalytic ultraviolet air purification system.
The system in the new train is Roof Mounted Package Unit (RMPU). As per the recommendation of Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh, this system is installed at both ends of RMPU, which is to filter and clean fresh air and back air containing germs, bacteria and viruses.
Indian Railways said that many technical changes have been made in the new Vande Bharat trains. In the present trains, only the rear part of the seat can be moved, but in the new train the entire seat can be moved back and forth as per the requirement as per the convenience of the passengers.
The number of Vande Bharat trains will increase further
In addition, Indian Railways is planning to start 75 Vande Bharat trains before 15 August 2023. The Railway Ministry had earlier said that after the construction of the new train, the remaining 74 Vande Bharat trains would be produced at the earliest.
