Vande Bharat Express was flagged off from Ayodhya Dham railway station to Anand Vihar on Saturday. The train left Ayodhya Cantt at 12.12 pm and reached Charbagh railway station at 2.37 pm.


Vande Bharat Express running from Ayodhya to Delhi via Lucknow will hit the tracks from January 4. The special thing is that the train will beat Shatabdi and Tejas Express in fares. The fare for executive class is Rs 2595. Which is more expensive than Shatabdi’s Anubhuti class coach. Whereas the train will reach Anand Vihar in 6.20 hours.

On one hand, there was an atmosphere of joy among the passengers regarding the train. On the other hand, the train fares and facilities were also discussed. It is feared that passengers may avoid the train due to expensive fares.

In Vande Bhatar, the fare for chair car from Lucknow to Anand Vihar on January 4 is Rs 1410 and for executive class is Rs 2595. Which is more expensive than Shatabdi and Tejas Express. Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar via Lucknow Vande Bharat Express (22425/26) will start from January 4. Passengers will also get the facility of catering in the train, the charge of which will be included in the fare. The catering charge in chair car of the train has been kept at Rs 308 and in executive class at Rs 369. The train will run on remaining days of the week except Wednesday. On January 4, 5 and 6, 386, 383, 376 and 35, 35, 35 seats are vacant in executive class in chair car from Lucknow to Anand Vihar respectively.

This is the timing of the train

Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat (22425) Express will depart from Ayodhya Cantt at 3.20 pm and reach Charbagh Railway Station at 5.15 pm. From here it will reach Kanpur Central at 6.35 pm and Anand Vihar at 11.40 pm. In return, Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat (22426) will depart from Anand Vihar at 6.10 am, reach Kanpur Central at 11 am, Charbagh station at 12.25 pm and reach Ayodhya Cantt at 2.30 pm.

Vande Bharat Express welcomed with much fanfare, passengers happy

When Vande Bharat Express from Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar via Lucknow reached Charbagh railway station on Saturday afternoon, there was a pleasant atmosphere at the station. The people who arrived to welcome the train were holding the tricolor in their hands and chanting Bharat Mata. The train had reached platform number one, where a platform had also been built. Additional Railway Manager Shivendra Shukla, Station Director Prashant Kumar along with Rajya Sabha MP Brijlal, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, BJP leader Neeraj Singh, City President BJP Anand Dwivedi were also present.

The train left at 12:12 pm after PM Modi showed the green flag from Ayodhya Dham. Reached Charbagh railway station at 02:37 pm. Here too many school children were given a chance to board the train, which went till Kanpur and were brought back to Lucknow by another train. Pilot and crew members of Vande Bharat Express Motilal Tiwari, Ashish Verma, KK Sachan described the experience as wonderful. Although he has run Vande Bharat before also. Not only are there facilities inside the train, there are also many facilities in the pilot cabin.

Cow came on the track

When the train coming from Ayodhya Cantt to Charbagh was near Malhaur station, a cow came on the track, due to which an accident was avoided. The loco pilot showed wisdom and stopped the train. Despite this the cow collided with the engine. The train had to be stopped for fifteen minutes. After investigation it was sent ahead.
