According to a study by America’s National Academy of Science, if vegetarianism is given more and more space in the food, then 5 million deaths in the world can be avoided every year. It is a common belief that vegetarian people remain at one-fourth the risk of obesity compared to non-vegetarians. According to PETA, an organization that promotes vegetarianism around the world, the supply of livestock for meat is largely required for food and water. The United Nations also said in its report that the adoption of vegetarian food globally is necessary to prevent climate change, reduce pollution, prevent destruction of forests and eliminate starvation worldwide.
People with diabetes can get control by adopting vegetarianism: In  India, the incidence of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and cancer is increasing rapidly and it is directly related to the increased consumption of meat, eggs and dairy products like butter, cheese etc. People with type two diabetes can control the disease by adopting vegetarianism. Eating vegetarian does not increase cholesterol. Vegetarian has very little fat and reduces the risk of cancer by 40 percent. Protein, sugars, fats, vitamins, minerals and fiber etc. are very important in proper proportion for energy and nutrition for human body. All nutritious elements are present in sufficient quantity in vegetarianism, which increases the capabilities in fighting all diseases.
