Simultaneously, his two companions have also been caught in the police. Home Minister Narott Mishra has also described the arrest of this infamous gangster as a major success of Madhya Pradesh Police. He had come out after seeing the Mahakal temple in Ujjain that the police arrested him. The Kanpur gangster Vikas Dubey was constantly being tightened by the police. So far, more than half a dozen gangsters close to the gangster have been caught by the police, while the police have killed four close men in the encounter.
The murder of 8 policemen in Kanpur Main accused Vikas Dubey along with two of his colleagues was absconding since few days. He was in the morning taking a ticket of 250 rupees to visit Mahakal with his 3 companions. When the security guard got suspicious and stopped them for questioning. Now he has been sent to Ujjain SP office.
Ranbir Shukla and Prabhat Mishra, close to Vikas Dubey, the main accused in the Kanpur shootout, were killed by police in an encounter in search of Vikas Dubey. Prabhat Mishra was arrested by the police from the hotel in Faridabad. It is being told that Prabhat was running away from police custody, after which Prabhat was killed in an encounter. Apart from this, Ranbir Shukla, close to Vikas Dubey, has been killed in Etawah.

According to police, Ranbir Shukla looted the Swift Dzire car on the highway near Maheva late night, along with three other gangsters. As soon as the police got the news of the robbery, the police surrounded the four on the Kachura road of the Civil Line police station. While explaining about Prabhat Mishra’s encounter, IG Mohit Aggarwal said that the police team was coming from Faridabad with Prabhat. The car was punctured on the way.
