An elephant stopped his convoy while the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand was on his way from Pauri to Kotdwar. The former CM has narrowly saved his life in the incident.
In the plains of Uttarakhand, cases of panic of elephants often come to the fore, due to which many common people become victims. But this time not an ordinary person but an elephant fell behind the former Chief Minister of the state. On Wednesday, an elephant suddenly came in front of the convoy of former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat going from Pauri to Kotdwar . In such a situation, the former Chief Minister had to run away from his vehicle and climb the mountain. He saved his life by climbing a cliff.
Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was coming from Pauri to Kotdwar between Dugadda on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the elephant stopped people including Trivendra Singh Rawat’s convoy. On coming close to the elephant, all the people including the former CM had to leave their vehicle and climb the mountain. He saved his life by climbing a cliff. After about half an hour of effort, the forest personnel fired in the air and somehow drove the elephant out of the way.

The convoy stayed for half an hour, then moved towards the car
In fact, on Wednesday, the convoy of former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was coming from Pauri to Kotdwar via Satpuli. Between five and six o’clock in the evening, suddenly an elephant came out of the forest and came on the road near the broken Gadera between Kotdwar-Dugadda. Due to this, the convoy of the former Chief Minister stayed for about half an hour. For some time the former CM sat in his vehicle but after sometime the elephant started coming towards his vehicle.
One person in the convoy injured
Seeing the elephant approaching the vehicle, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and his companions left the vehicle and left for the hill. During this, a large number of vehicles gathered. Prithviraj Chauhan, his colleague in the former CM’s convoy, got out of the vehicle and got injured while climbing the hill. At the same time, there was a stir among the officials of the Forest Department due to the fear of the elephant being an attacker. After this, the forest personnel hurriedly drove the elephant into the forest, leaving air fire and firecrackers. Forest workers heaved a sigh of relief after the former CM passed through the highway.
