Actually, from today i.e. January 14, Indian workers applying for work visa in Saudi Arabia will have to complete the pre-validation of their professional and educational qualifications.

Let us tell you here that according to the Ministry of External Affairs, Indians are the second largest expatriate community in Saudi Arabia after Bangladesh with more than 2.4 million residents. In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan, the pre-verification requirement was first proposed six months ago as part of Saudi Arabia’s labor sector reform.
Certification strict for some occupations
There is a strict certification process for some occupations. This is also part of the updated framework. According to a circular issued by the Saudi Mission in India, professional verification procedures for issuing Work Visa will be implemented from January 14.
