Vistara Airlines is going to merge with Air India. Vistara’s last flight will fly till November 11. In such a situation, if you have booked Vistara’s flight ticket after November 11 in advance, then there is an update for you. According to the official website of Vistara, if you have an existing booking with Vistara, but your journey is after November 11, 2024, i.e. from November 12, 2024, then your flight will be operated by Air India, subject to regulatory approval.
On bookings on or before November 11
Vistara has said that if you have an existing booking with Vistara for travel on or before November 11, 2024, your flight will continue to be operated by Vistara and there will be no impact or change to your booking. The airline has said that after Vistara and Air India come together, we are looking forward to flying you in the sky full of possibilities. When the two airlines come together, some aspects of your journey may change.
Bookings for Vistara closed after November 11, 2024
Bookings for travel on Vistara after November 11, 2024 i.e. from November 12, 2024 have been closed. For travel after November 11, 2024, passengers can book through the Air India website or Air India mobile app. Yes, if you want to book for travel till 11-November 2024, you can continue to do so through Vistara’s website or mobile app.

What will happen to travel insurance
The airline says that if you had purchased travel insurance while booking on Vistara, it will remain valid even while traveling on Air India flights. If you have booked on Vistara and want to do web check-in, you can do it. Yes, for travel till 11 November 2024, you can do so through the Vistara website or mobile app. For travel after 12 November 2024, your flight will be operated by Air India. You can do web check-in through the Air India website or Air India mobile app using the same PNR and last name. On the day of your travel, you can go to the Air India counter at the airport with a new Air India ticket for your journey.
