New Delhi. Vodafone Idea (Vi) on Tuesday launched two new RedX family plans, priced at Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,299, that offer customers to add 3 and 5 family members respectively. The unique thing about the Multi Members REDX plan by Vodafone Idea is the lock-in period, which means that the customers have to subscribe to these plans for a minimum period of 6 months, and if they leave the plans in between So an exit fee of Rs 3,000 will be charged from them.
WHAT THE COMPANY SAID
The telecom company said in the statement, ‘Many family members use more data due to work from home, online schooling, entertainment and socialization. This plan has been specially designed for those people. He will give unlimited data to every member of the family. The bill will also come the same.
With the new RedX family plan, the primary member benefits from subscription to OTT platforms like Netflix (with one-year subscription), Amazon Prime for 1 year, Disney+ Hotstar VIP membership for 1 year, VIP access to Vi Movies and TV can lift. Along with this, access to Zee5 Premium will also be available.

With unlimited 4G data on every connection, the new RedX family plans offer unlimited voice calls to both primary and secondary numbers across India. The move comes soon after Vodafone Idea followed suit by its rival Bharti Airtel, slashing data benefits offered under Business Plus postpaid plans for its corporate customers.
