The company has announced it on its official Twitter handle. The company has rolled out these updates for both Android and iOS versions. If you want to use an animated sticker, you’ll need to update your WhatsApp. Only then will you be able to use these stickers.
Open WhatsApp and go to chat.
Click the emoji icon in the text box.
Then select the stickers option at the bottom of the display.
Then tap the ‘+’ icon that will take you to the WhatsApp Sticker Store, where there will be multiple stickers for you to download.
The store will have several stickers, including animated stickers. The company has a play button with animated stickers to let users know the difference between the two.
Then click on the sticker pack you want to download. You can tap stickers to see them.
You’ll need to click the Download button directly to get the pack.
Once you’ve downloaded animated stickers, you’ll need to go to the chat of the person you want to send the animated sticker to.
Then tap the emoji icon in the text box.
Select the stickers option at the bottom of the display.
You’ll then see a list of stickers pack where you need to select the sticker pack you want to use.
Select and tap the sticker to send it.
