Yes…there is a waiting line of about 1000 days for Indians seeking visitor visa for America. The US State Department website states that the waiting time for a B1/B2 visa interview is 91 days (as of November 23). The US State Department said earlier this month that it was committed to further facilitating legal travel to the US while keeping national security in mind.
According to the US State Department website, the waiting time for a US visa for Mumbai residents is 999 days, for Hyderabad residents the waiting time is 994 days. Chennai residents will have to wait 948 days for a US visa interview, while it is 904 days for Kerala residents.
