The maximum crisis was in Deoria where 9 people lost their lives and 6 people got burnt due to lightning. 6 people lost their lives due to lightning in Prayagraj and one person got burnt. At the same time, two people died in Barabanki and 3 in Ambedkarnagar. In Kushinagar, Fatehpur and Balrampur also one person lost his life. 4 lakh rupees financial assistance has been announced by the government to the families of the deceased. There is a possibility of further increase in the number of people who lost their lives and scorched due to lightning.

According to the latest estimates by the Meteorological Department, the intensity of rain will be more in East Central and Central UP. The meteorological department has issued an orange alert for these areas for the next 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, on June 26, 27 and 28, many districts of East Central and Eastern UP may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall. During this time, the danger of lightning will also remain constant. There will be rain in western UP as well, but its prevalence will be less than in eastern UP. According to the estimates so far, no alert has been issued for Western UP. Scattered rains have been predicted at some places.

Meteorological Department has released the data of rain in the state on Thursday. Rae Bareli recorded the highest rainfall of 83.4 mm. Bareilly was the second place where 43.2 mm of rain was recorded. Sultanpur recorded 35.8 mm, Bahraich recorded 42 mm, Prayagraj 14, Gorakhpur 12 and Kanpur 22 mm. Apart from this, 4 mm of rain was recorded in Jhansi, 3 in Ballia and 2 mm in Hardoi.
The temperature in the entire state has come down drastically
Barring Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh and Meerut, there is no district in the state where the temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Agra recorded the highest temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius. Jhansi was the second place where the temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius. Aligarh recorded 36.8 degrees Celsius, while Meerut recorded 36 degree Celsius. All other districts had temperatures below this. Due to the active monsoon in the entire state, the temperature has dropped significantly. According to the meteorological estimate, further reduction will be seen in the next few days.
