Weather Today: Pink cold knocks in North India! Rain wreaks havoc in southern states, know the weather across the country

According to the Meteorological Department, on October 17, an orange alert of heavy rains has been issued in Tamil Nadu and a yellow alert of heavy rains in Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra. At the same time, a drop in the morning and evening temperatures is being seen in Delhi, due to which people have started feeling the pink cold.

Delhi Weather

A drop in the morning and evening temperatures is being seen in Delhi, due to which people have started feeling the pink cold. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will remain clear in Delhi throughout this week and the movement of clouds will continue during this time. At the same time, due to Western Disturbance, moderate rain is expected in many northern states and heavy rain at some places. This western disturbance can start winter-like conditions in Delhi-NCR before the festival of Diwali. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 33 to 35 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 17 to 18 degree Celsius.

Weather condition of the country

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, light to moderate rains may occur in Telangana and Konkan and Goa with heavy rains at one or two places.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain is possible in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, South Gujarat and South Madhya Pradesh. Light rain is possible in Northeast India, Sikkim, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, South-East Rajasthan, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Seasonal activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the entire country today on October 16. At the same time, the pressure on the Oman coast is expected to gradually weaken into a clearly marked low pressure area. Apart from this, the clear low pressure over the central part of the South Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression, it will move in a west northwest direction towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coast and will touch North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coast as a depression near Chennai.
