Weather Update: There is a possibility of rain in some states due to western disturbance on February 1. Delhi’s name has also come up in these. There is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in different places of Uttar Pradesh during night/morning from today till January 31. Cold wave is still continuing in North India including Rajasthan and Punjab.

Weather Update: The effect of cold has reduced a lot in Delhi NCR. The feeling of cold has reduced a lot since the last two-three days, there is a light fog in the morning. There are chances of bright sunshine today as well. Talking about other states of the country, according to the Meteorological Department, except Delhi, the cold is still prevailing in North India including Kashmir, Rajasthan and Punjab. In many places, there is a blanket of fog in the morning.

It is being told that there is a possibility of rain in some states due to western disturbance on February 1. Delhi’s name has also come up in this. Cold wave continues in Rajasthan, the temperature is also very low in other places including Karauli, Mount Abu, Sikar and Nagaur. At present, there is no possibility of any major change in the weather in the state.

How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh?

If we talk about Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog during night/morning hours till January 31 at different places in Uttar Pradesh.
In Prayagraj, UP, the maximum temperature today can go up to 26 to 28 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 9 to 11 degree Celsius.

What is the condition of the hilly areas?

Jammu and Kashmir is experiencing severe cold these days. The minimum temperature in Srinagar has dropped to -5 degrees Celsius. The temperature has dropped significantly in many places including Pahalgam in the valley.

According to the Meteorological Department, from January 29, 2025, i.e. from today, there may be rain and snowfall here, due to which there is a possibility of change in temperature.
The weather is going to be clear in Uttarakhand today. The temperature here is expected to be between 11-24 degrees Celsius today.

Weather will change in Himachal

Talking about Himachal Pradesh, the weather will change here from January 31. According to IMD, it may rain in many parts of the state. Cold winds are affecting Haryana-Punjab. Along with this, a blanket of fog has also spread here. Fog prevails in the morning and evening in many districts including Chandigarh, Sirsa, Amritsar, Bhiwani and Gurugram.
