Weather Update: IMD issued rain alert in these states, know the weather of the country

Weather Update: The IMD has issued an alert of moderate to heavy rains in Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Telangana on September 23. At the same time, light to heavy rains are expected in the country’s capital Delhi between September 25 and 28.

Weather Update: Rain continues in many states of the country. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD), conditions are becoming favorable for the return of the southwest monsoon. The IMD has issued an alert of moderate to heavy rains in Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Telangana on September 23.

Delhi weather

The weather has been clear in Delhi for the last 2-3 days. The temperature has increased due to bright sunshine during the day. The Meteorological Department says that another round of rain can be seen in Delhi from September 25, which is likely to continue till September 28. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi may remain between 33 to 36 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 23 to 25 degree Celsius.

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, West Bengal this week. In the next five days, sporadic to moderate rainfall may occur in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim. Light rainfall is also expected during the next two days.

Odisha during 23 and 24 September, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 23 to 26. Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during 23 to 26. At the same time, heavy rains are expected in Chhattisgarh during September 23 to 26, in Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh during September 24 to 26, in West Madhya Pradesh on September 25 and 26.

Seasonal activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, conditions are becoming favorable for the withdrawal of southwest monsoon from western Rajasthan and Kutch region of Gujarat in the next 2 to 3 days. At the same time, the monsoon trough at sea level will now pass through Bikaner, Sagar, Jamshedpur and Digha and then move in a southeast direction to the East Central Bay of Bengal. An area of ​​​​cyclonic winds remains over northeast Rajasthan.

Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation is 3.1 and 5.8 km above sea level over West Central and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal. An area of ​​​​upper cyclonic winds is expected to develop over the North Andaman Sea in the next 24 hours. It is expected to move in the northwest direction. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over northwest and adjoining west central Bay of Bengal around September 23.
