Weather Update: Rain has been predicted in many parts of the country including the capital on August 14. Know what the weather will be like in your city.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for very heavy rains at isolated places for eastern Rajasthan on August 14. Heavy rain alert has also been issued for Kerala and South Interior Karnataka today.
It has been raining in Delhi NCR for the last several days which may continue further. Heavy rains have been predicted in other areas including Western Himalayan region, Uttar Pradesh and Eastern India in the next seven days.
The Meteorological Department has predicted light or moderate rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Areas like Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are also expected to receive rain during the week.
Rainfall has also been predicted in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan, Goa and Gujarat. There is a possibility of fairly widespread rain at some places in Vidarbha, Saurashtra and Kutch. Along with this, rain is also predicted in Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
In the North East, rain is also expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. A yellow alert for rain has been issued in all these places.
