AQI remained at moderate level in Delhi
According to the IMD, the overall air quality index (AQI) at 9 am in the national capital was recorded at 161, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’.
There may be light rain in these states
According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain is expected in the Western Himalayas during the next 24 hours. Light rain may occur over East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim and western and southern districts of Rajasthan. At the same time, light rain is expected in Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh, North Konkan, Goa and North Central Maharashtra in the next two to three days.

There was rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir during the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department’s office said that there may be light rain and snowfall on Friday as well. A meteorological official said, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature was 6.5 in Srinagar, 1.7 in Pahalgam and minus 0.6 degree Celsius in Gulmarg. The minimum temperature was minus 4.5 in Drass town of Ladakh region, minus 2.4 in Kargil and minus 4.8 degrees Celsius in Leh. Jammu recorded 12.7, Katra 11.6, Batote 5.6, Banihal 5.8 and Bhaderwah 5.2 as the minimum temperature.
