Generating virtual ID of Aadhaar card

Through official website

  • First of all, you have to come to the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India.
  • Now here you have to select the language according to your convenience in Hindi or English.
  • Now on the website, click on Virtual ID (VID) Generator in Aadhaar Services at the bottom.
  • Now you have to enter the Aadhaar card number and captcha.
  • Now you have to enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  • Now you will see your virtual ID on the screen.
  • This virtual ID is also sent to the registered mobile number.

Through SMS

Apart from the official website, you can also get virtual ID by sending SMS from the phone. For this, you have to type the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number along with RVID from your registered mobile number and send it to 1947. For example, if the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar card is 4565, then the text of the message should be RVID 4565.
