28% will be a lump sum payment

The last three installments are to be paid in lump sum. The dearness allowance of January 2020, June 2020, January 2021 was kept frozen due to Corona. Now this restriction has been removed. By stopping three installments of DA / DR (dearness allowance (DA) and dearness relief (DR)) given to the staff, the central government has saved Rs 34,402.32 crore.
Dearness allowance will increase by 3 percent
It has become clear from the latest data of AICPI that in June 2021 also, the dearness allowance will increase by 3 percent. Meaning, after the total DA of 28 percent, now there will be a further increase of 3 percent. With this, the DA-DR of central employees and pensioners will increase to 31 percent. Looking at the AICPI data of the Labor Ministry for June 2021, the index has increased by 1.1 points, taking it to 121.7. Now dearness allowance may increase by 3 percent in June 2021. However, it is not clear when it will be announced.
Benefit will also be available in other allowances
Only Dearness Allowance for central employees will not increase in September. Rather, other allowances will also increase. This includes Travel Allowance and City Allowance. At the same time, a big increase is also expected in Provident Fund and Gratuity for retirement. This is because, the increase in dearness allowance affects all these allowances.
