Audio note works like this so far
Currently, instant messaging applications require the user to record an audio note in a single attempt. The user can either approve the voice recording or re-record it completely. Now WhatsApp is working on a new way to record audio messages, which will allow users to pause the voice note and then proceed.
Rollout will be done for Android users
Most of the voice recorders on smartphones also work in the same way. WABetaInfo, a website that tracks all new WhatsApp updates, spotted the feature on the iOS beta version of the application. However, the report claims that WhatsApp is also working on a similar feature that will be rolled out for Android users.
WhatsApp has also reintroduced end-to-end encryption feature for chat backup. Earlier this feature was introduced on beta versions of both Android and iOS, but later it was withdrawn. WhatsApp re-introduced it for beta testers last week.
