That is, if you have made any mistake in the message by mistake, then within 15 minutes you can edit and fix it.
For information, let us tell you that ‘edited’ will be written in front of the edited message, so that the receiver will know that it is a corrected message. Apart from this, also know that edited messages like personal messages, media and calls will also be end-to-end encrypted.
This feature has been rolled out globally, and will soon be rolled out to everyone. With the feature being rolled out globally in the coming weeks, senders will be able to edit their messages within 15 minutes of sending.
How to use edit feature? To use this feature, the user has to long press on the message, and then select the ‘edit’ option from the drop down menu. ‘Edited’ will be written on the modified message without showing the edit history.
Mark Zuckerberg wrote in his post, ‘Within 15 minutes, you can edit the message sent on WhatsApp on Android and iOS devices.’ It would not be wrong to say that this feature was most awaited among the users, and now it is being made available to all.
