This is different from government pensioners, who have to submit it before November 30 every year. Therefore, EPS members should remember the submission date to submit the digital life certificate next year.

The individual must be a member of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). To be eligible for early pension under EPS, you must have completed 10 years of service and be at least 50 years of age.

When is it necessary for EPS members to submit life certificate

Unlike other pensioners, EPS members can submit Jeevan Pramaan Patra at any time which will be valid for one year from the date of submission. EPS members can submit Jeevan Pramaan Patra at pension distributor bank, Common Service Center, IPPB, Indian Post Office, Postman, Umang App, nearest EPFO ​​office.

Pensioners have to submit their life certificate by 30 November. Pensioners have to submit their life certificate every year. Submitting a life certificate means that you are alive. The deadline for submitting life certificate for super senior citizens i.e. pensioners above 80 years of age starts from 1 October. Senior citizens between 60 to 80 years of age can submit their life certificate between 1 to 30 November. Pensioners can submit their annual life certificate both online and offline.
