Taliban does not like Majri and his community

Let us tell you that Majri comes from the Hazara community and most of the people in the community are Shia, whom the Taliban with Sunni Muslims do not like at all. He is regularly targeted by Taliban and Islamic State fighters. In May itself, he attacked a school in the capital and killed 80 girls.
The Battle to Save the Remaining
Nearly half of the Majri-ruled district has already been captured by the Taliban. Now she is working continuously to save the remaining part. Hundreds of local people, including farmers, shepherds and laborers have become a part of his mission. Majri says, “Our people did not have guns, but they bought weapons by selling their cows, sheep and even land.
They are stationed at the front day and night, while neither they are getting the credit for it, nor are they getting any credit for it. No salary”. The district chief of police, Syed Nazir, believes that the Taliban has not been able to capture this district due to the resistance of the local people. Majri has so far recruited 600 men, who are replacing the army and security forces during the fighting.

Governor Majri knows that if he returns, he will never accept a woman’s leadership. “Women’s opportunities for education will be curtailed and youth will not get jobs”, she says. Who is Salima Majri
Actually, Salima Majri , of Afghan origin, was born in Iran as a refugee in 1980, when her family fled the Soviet war. He did his education in Iran only. After graduating from Tehran University, he held various roles at universities and the International Migration Organization before deciding to leave his parents and move to the country (Afghanistan) decades ago.
In 2018, he came to know that there was a vacancy for the post of Governor of Charkint district. It was his ancestral homeland, so he applied for the post. Thereafter she was elected to the governorship. Seeing the threat of the Taliban and to secure the district, he had set up a Security Commission, which looked after the recruitment of the local army. Salima has stifled the Talibanis during her tenure.
