The Taliban ‘s hold is getting stronger in Afghanistan on the basis of guns and weapons . Many important provinces of Afghanistan are being captured by the Taliban and the Afghan army looks weak.
Meanwhile, a female governor has come forward to stop the Taliban and give them a direct fight. Female governor Salima Mazari has formed an army to fight the Taliban, which is killing the terrorist organization in Afghanistan. Salima Mazari is raising an army in her area. People are buying weapons and joining their army by selling their land and cattle.
Salima Mazari of Afghanistan is the female governor of Charkint district , joining the army for doing such people , with whom it is hardly easy for the Taliban to take on. The hallmark of how she is strengthening her army is being seen continuously. Majri, a female governor of a district in male-dominated Afghanistan, has set out to mobilize an army of men to fight the Taliban.
Salima Majri herself is sitting firmly on the front seat of the pickup. She travels through the rural areas of northern Afghanistan and continues to add local people to her army. The loudspeaker on the roof of his car plays a famous local song. “Mere Watan… Main Apni Zindagi Tujh Par Kurban Karoonga” was playing on the car. These days Salima is asking the people of her area to do the same. Let us tell you that since the beginning of May, the Taliban has been gathering in rural areas of Afghanistan.
Charkint is still not occupied by the Taliban,
this was the time when US President Joe Biden ordered the end of America’s longest war and the withdrawal of troops. Since then the Taliban have taken control of remote mountain villages and valleys. Now the situation has become such that the Taliban have taken control of the major provinces of Afghanistan except Kabul. However, the Taliban have not been able to completely capture Charkint so far. Charkint, who is about an hour away from Mazar-e-Sharif in Balkh province, is wary. Under Taliban rule, education, writing and jobs of women and girls were banned. Even after the end of the Taliban rule in 2001, the attitude of the people has changed little.
Taliban does not like Majri and his community
On this, Governor Majri says, ‘The Taliban are exactly those who crush human rights. Socially people are unable to accept women leaders. Let us tell you that Majri comes from the Hazara community and most of the people in the community are Shia, whom the Taliban with Sunni Muslims do not like at all. He is regularly targeted by Taliban and Islamic State fighters. In May itself, he attacked a school in the capital and killed 80 girls.
The Battle to Save the Remaining
Nearly half of the Majri-ruled district has already been captured by the Taliban. Now she is working continuously to save the remaining part. Hundreds of local people, including farmers, shepherds and laborers have become a part of his mission. Majri says, “Our people did not have guns, but they bought weapons by selling their cows, sheep and even land.
They are stationed at the front day and night, while neither they are getting the credit for it, nor are they getting any credit for it. No salary”. The district chief of police, Syed Nazir, believes that the Taliban has not been able to capture this district due to the resistance of the local people. Majri has so far recruited 600 men, who are replacing the army and security forces during the fighting.
The Taliban has wreaked havoc in
Charkint, even today the minds of the people of the village are filled with bad memories of the Taliban. Governor Majri knows that if he returns, he will never accept a woman’s leadership. “Women’s opportunities for education will be curtailed and youth will not get jobs”, she says. To prevent such a situation from happening, in her office, she is engaged in planning the next war by sitting with the commanders of the militia.
Who is Salima Majri
