Wipro’s HR officer Saurabh Govil said in the mail, ‘From November 15, all employees will have to come to office at least three days every week. The purpose of this change is to promote teamwork, create scope for greater interaction between each other and strengthen the culture of Wipro. Moneycontrol also has a copy of this email. Also, it has been confirmed that this email has been sent by a senior executive of Wipro.
According to Mel, the policy change will improve communication, help resolve issues more quickly, make team building easier and strengthen relationships between coworkers. Additionally, Wipro has warned employees that if they do not follow the new hybrid work policy, they may face action from January 7, 2024.
“We believe accountability is essential to our company’s growth and success,” the email said. Wipro’s growth in the second quarter has been much weaker than other peer companies. There was a decline in the company’s profit and revenue in the respective period and the company’s guidance for the third quarter is also not encouraging.
