Wipro Q3 Results: Wipro made a profit of ₹3,053 crore in the third quarter, revenue increased by 14.3%

Wipro Q3 Results: Wipro has announced the results of the third quarter. This IT sector company has shown good growth in profits while its revenue has also increased from the previous quarter.


New Delhi. IT sector giant Wipro has released its third quarter results on Friday. The consolidated net profit of the company increased by 2.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,053 crore in the December quarter of the current financial year. In the same period a year ago, this figure was Rs 2,969 crore.

The Bangalore-based IT company said in a statement on Friday that its revenue in the third quarter of FY 2022-23 was Rs 23,229 crore, which is 14.3 per cent higher on an annual basis.

Also announced an interim dividend of Re 1 per share.
At the time of announcing the results for the third quarter of FY 2023, Wipro also announced an interim dividend of Re 1 per share due to the increase in profit and income.

Dollar income increased and attrition rate decreased
The company’s dollar income increased on a quarterly basis. The company’s dollar revenue increased to $280.3 million, compared to $279.7 million in the second quarter. During the third quarter, the company also got relief on the attrition rate front. The company’s attrition rate decreased to 21.2 percent in the third quarter, while the company’s attrition rate was 23 percent in the previous quarter.

Total bookings of deals exceed US$ 4.3 billion
Wipro CEO and MD Thierry Delaporte said it had total bookings of deals in excess of US$ 4.3 billion, which included solid large deals worth over a billion dollars. He said that the company is continuously gaining market share by strengthening customer relationships and due to high success rate.
