Work from Home: Many tech giants including Google, Meta are once again implementing new policies. Companies are now shifting from work from home to work from office.


After Covid-19, many big companies had taken some strict steps, in which employees were asked to work from home, but now as the threat of the epidemic has passed, many tech giants are once again implementing new policies. In which employees are being asked to work from office. These companies include many big names including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, HCL Technologies, Google and Amazon.   1. Amazon
    Global tech giant Amazon is asking its employees to come to office. However, the company also wants its employees to work from home at least three days a week, otherwise their jobs may be in danger. Also, the company has given managers the right to fire those employees who are not coming to office three times a week.
  2. Meta
    Facebook’s parent company Meta has also asked its employees to work from office three days a week. The company warned employees that those who do not follow the new policy may lose their jobs.
  3. TCS changed the policy
    When the Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) implemented the work from home policy. However, like many other tech companies, the company took a U-turn on its decision and announced that employees will have to come to the office at least three days a week.
  4. HCLTech’s U-turn
    HCLTech has made it mandatory for all its employees to work from office from February 19. The company will have its employees work from its designated HCLTech office at least three days a week. The company is planning to take strict action if instructions are not followed.
  5. Infosys
    Infosys has instructed its employees to work from office for at least 10 days i.e. at least three days a week. The company claims that the objective of this policy is to increase teamwork and employee welfare.
  6. Wipro also changed its policy
    Wipro had told its employees last year that they would have to be present in the office for at least three days every week. Those who do not follow this policy may have to face strict action. Wipro claims that the aim of this policy is to increase teamwork, innovation and culture.
  7. Google also issued a new policy
    Google also asked its employees to come to the office and revealed that the company has also asked employees to work on alternative days to implement its co-working space policy. The company requires employees to be in the office at least three days a week and the company will monitor their attendance and take action against those who do not come to the office.
