Work From Home: Despite the outbreak of Kovid epidemic in the country, the facility of working in a hybrid (work from home and office) way continues, but Indian professionals are preferring to go to office. A survey says that eight out of 10 i.e. around 78 per cent professionals prefer to go to office to socialize and connect with their colleagues. According to a report by professional networking platform LinkedIn, 78 per cent of the professionals surveyed said that they prefer going to the office.

This LinkedIn report is based on the opinion of more than 1,001 Indian employees above the age of 18 years. This survey was done between February 28 and March 6, 2023. The report said that questions were raised on the hybrid working system when the office reopened after the pandemic.

Along with this, the question was also raised that the lack of time and low visibility in the office will affect one’s career. A LinkedIn report revealed that 63 percent of employees feel that working remotely does not have any detrimental effect on their careers. However, an equal percentage believe that if they spend less time in the office, their chances of career growth may be less.
