Studies so far have shown that Omicron is more contagious but not lethal than the other variants. Most of its patients are found asymptomatic or with mild symptoms, who are considering treatment better by staying at home instead of being admitted to the hospital. However, it is a matter of relief that if the third wave comes, it will reach its peak within a month. In such a situation, if people take precautions for a month and adopt measures to prevent infection, then the effect of the third wave can be reduced to a great extent.
