Important options have been prepared by Citi India Bank for women employees. Under this, work from home facility will be provided to women employees. However, rules have also been fixed for this.

 Employees Work From Home: There is good news for bank employees. A new work from home option has been prepared for the women employees of the bank. Whose benefits will be available to the employees. Female employees can request for 3 months work from home. With the new policy, it can be extended up to 21 months for pregnant and new mothers.


Work from home option ready

Big relief is being given to women employees in Citibank. A new work from home option is being prepared. In which after 26 weeks of maternity leave, they are allowed to work remotely for 12 months. Even after this, if the female employee wishes, she can request for 3 months of work from home.

Citi India is one of the first organizations to implement this work from home initiative linked to maternity leave. The objective of this step of the bank is to provide women a balance between their family and career responsibilities. Giving information, Aditya Mittal, Chief Human Resources Officer, Citi India and South Asia, said that this move will help in retaining female talent and support their careers at a crucial stage.

Earlier, ICICI Bank had started the work from home initiative under the leadership of its former MD and CEO Chanda Kochhar. Citibank has more than 30000 employees in India. Of which 38% are women. In such a situation, women employees will get important benefits from this scheme. The new policy will also help in ensuring continuity of women’s career in Citibank.
