Google’s new work model
Google has prepared a new ‘Hybrid’ work model for its employees. Google has around 140,000 employees worldwide. Google has made many changes in the working culture, under which 60% of the employees will have to work in offices on certain days of the week, 20% of the employees will work from different office locations, the remaining 20% of Google employees can work from home. Huh.
Salary will be given accordingly
In this new work model of Google, it has been told that if an employee moves to a cheaper city, then his salary and pay scale will be changed. According to the new work location tool, the salary of any employee will be given on the basis of his job location, cost of his living space and locality. That is, now the salary will be fixed according to its inflation by remotely relocating their area.
Google spent more on corporate retreats
Significantly, Google spends a lot on employee care and facilities like massage tables, catered cuisines and corporate retreats, but these allowances are not being given during work from home, due to which the company is saving a lot. Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai has talked about remote location work and work from home flexibility so that offices closed due to corona infection can be reopened.
