Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is set to expand its product portfolio in India today. The company will unveil its first laptop range in India called the Mi Notebook series via a virtual event at 12pm. The launch will also mark the global debut of the laptop series.

Being teased by the company for quite some time now, the laptop is claimed by the company to feature ultra-fast data transfer, which is said to be 30 times faster than HDD. Further, it has revealed that the Mi Notebook will come equipped with the Intel Core 10 Generation processor. The device is said to come with a full HD+ screen with narrow bezels and high screen-to-body ratio.
Xiaomi claims that the Mi Notebook will boasts of battery capacity that can last up to 12 hours on single charge.
In a recent interaction with Times of India-Gadgets Now Raghu Reddy, chief business officer, Xiaomi India said that the product category is one of the most sought-after since the last two years. “It is one of the most requested categories by our fans,” said Reddy. He said that the Mi Notebook will be aimed at users who need their laptops to handle intense workload.“The Mi notebook series will be targeted very strongly at the power users. This can again be segregated across different categories. It could be students, people who are working — people who demand more from their device,” he said.
