Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max to go on first sale today: Offers, price and specs

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is set to go on its first sale today. The handset will be available on e-commerce platform Amazon along with the company’s own website Mi.com. Those interested can head to either of the platforms to grab a unit for themselves.



The base variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with 6+64GB is priced at Rs 16,499. The model with 6+128GB is priced at Rs 17,999, while the 8GB RAM variant can be purchased at Rs 19,999. Buyers can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 with ICICI credit card transaction including EMI




Along with the phone, Xiaomi Mi True Wireless earphones 2 will also be available for sale. Originally priced at Rs 4,499, the earphone can be purchased at discounted price of Rs 3,999 as an introductory offer during the sale. It will be available at the discounted price from May 12 to May 17.

The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The handset runs on Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max packs 6GB/8GB of RAM paired with 128GB onboard storage.



Coming to the camera, the smartphone comes with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The front houses a 32MP in-display selfie camera. The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with P2i coating which the company says makes it splash-proof. The device is backed by a 5020 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and USB Type-C reversible connector port.
