Passengers start driving the vehicle at high speed
Often commuters start driving their vehicle at high speed after crossing the expressway. If you do this then you may have to face trouble. Speed limit will be imposed on Yamuna Expressway from next weekend. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), has said that speed limit will be imposed on the expressway soon.
Let us tell that at present this speed limit is 100 kmph, which will be further reduced from December 15. Let us know what will be the new speed limit?
This much speed limit will be applicable
Regarding the speed limit, the officials have said that the speed limit for light vehicles will be 80 km per hour, and for heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses, the speed limit will be 60 km per hour. It has been said that this new rule will start from December 15 and will be applicable till February 15 next year. Officials have said that this decision has been taken in view of the safety of the passengers. The Yamuna Expressway is very busy and connects Delhi, Noida, Mathura and Agra.
₹2,000 fine will be imposed
YEIDA Chief Executive Officer Arun Vir Singh has said that if anyone violates it, a fine of ₹2,000 will be imposed against him. CCTV cameras will be installed at various places to keep an eye on the passengers.
