Now you can update the online address in a very easy way from home. UIDAI has shared a video of the entire process on the official Twitter handle.
Aadhaar card is used in many government and private functions. The Aadhaar card holder often needs to update the new number and address in his Aadhaar. Keeping all these things in mind, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has provided extremely easy facility to the card holders to update the address.

In this regard, UIDAI tweeted and wrote, “You can easily update your address online in Aadhaar. To login you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. You will have to scan a color photo of your address proof. See how to use the service through video. “So let’s know how you can easily update Aadhaar card online from home.”
In such a way, change your address in Aadhaar card
first, the cardholder must first go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/. After this the cardholder will get a tab with My Adhaar. In the second tab of the dropdown, go to Udate Your Aadhaar and click on the third option Update your address online in its dropdown. After clicking, the new page will open. Here you have to click on Proceed to Update Address. Then a new page will open. Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha verification and click on Send OTP below. After this OTP will come on your Aadhaar registered mobile number. Enter OTP and click on Login. Now you will see the option of Update address via address proof. Select it and enter your new address.
To upload a document, you will have to upload
a color photo of the document via mobile or scan it. After this, you have to complete the further process. There will be verification of the application for updating Aadhaar. After this, the new address on your Aadhar card will be updated.
